Athletic Mentorship Program

ICON PINK_6POINT-ICON_PINK_TRANSP.png

AMP (Athletic Mentorship Program) is specifically designed for female middle school and high school athletes to connect with one another through fitness.  Middle school athletes will be partnered one-on-one with a high school female athlete as their workout buddy. The goal of the program is for high schoolers to work with the middle school students in a positive environment to encourage them to get stronger for their sport(s) and make working out a fun experience.

Athletes will participate in a 45-minute athletic-based workout together.  After the workout, we will meet as a group to discuss various topics such as: What makes a good leader, how to take care of our bodies in a healthy way, how much training for a sport is appropriate, how to navigate being in sports as a female, etc.

The high school athletes will take on a mentorship role to help prepare the middle school participants for their high school athletic experience.  AMP will be supervised by 6Point Athletes owner, Lisa Fisher, while the high school athletes will be playing the main role in the workout and group discussions.
