6Point Athletes is excited to announce its newest program, Mind, Body and Goals High School Girls Athletic Program. This program is for high school female athletes who are currently not involved in a sport or may no longer want to play a sport but still want to lead an athletic lifestyle.

Mind, Body and Goals will run from February till May and will be held every Monday and Wednesday evening. At the beginning of the program, participants will set realistic goals they want to accomplish during the four months we are together. These goals can be about physical growth, mental growth, or both!

Each week participants will be led through an athletic-style workout that will focus on strength, core and cardio conditioning. In addition to the awesome workout, we will have discussions around topics such as:

Sports leadership

Volunteer opportunities and jobs in the athletic field

Different college majors focused on the sports world

What a healthy body really looks and feels like

In addition to the topics above, an athletic counselor will be present to cover such topics as:

How to maintain and lead an athletic lifestyle when not directly involved in a sport.

How to cope with not making a certain team or dealing with the pressure of tryouts and being on a team, etc.

Participants will also have the opportunity to meet with a registered dietitian to talk about proper nutrition, fueling a growing body, having a positive relationship with food, what healthy eating really means, etc.

The ultimate goal of the program is for high school females to develop a healthy connection between the mind and body, and with this connection, empower them to move forward with confidence as they enter their next chapter in life.
